It is a nonprofit so they have volunteers. Even the kids there were friendly, including the lifeguard, they were all actually having swim races together. The other section is fenced off for the smaller kids, the water is more shallow. The water is on the deep side on one side and so everyone is required to take a swim test. ![]() We sat at a table we had a nice lunch they played cards and swim in the nice cool water. They are frogs and salamanders but they said they don’t see □. It is fed from outside water source and there is no chlorine in the water. Very small and perfect for a relaxing day out. The entrance fee was $10 for adults and anyone under 17 only $5. The ride there was beautiful as well coming from the New York area. It is set in the beautiful mountains in New Jersey. We went there when she was little and I didn’t really remember too much about it. Went here yesterday with my 14-year-old daughter at her friend. We ran into a weird issue with the car's reception and you don't want to get stuck like we did :) The pool crew was very helpful (Thank you, Ray) and we couldn't be happier with the Highlands Natural pool. One word of advice: if you're coming from the city in a Zipcar, be sure your card can lock and unlock the doors before everybody gets out of the car. It was one of the nicest pools I've ever visited. There's a diving board and a deep end, as well as a shallow end that has a gate and a smooth cement bottom that's great for kids. The water itself was cool and perfect to swim in. ![]() Keep in mind it's a natural spring, so you're going to be sharing the pool with some wildlife. Everybody there was very pleasant, and the water was amazing to swim in. There are tables to sit at, charming old-school changing rooms, lovely landscaped flowers all over the place, and a wonderful little snack bar. ![]() The pool is beautiful, set in a lovely forested area. We had a wonderful day visiting from NYC.
